Veterinarian Position Overview
We are a full-service clinic in search of a Full-time Associate DVM to join our team. Our ideal candidate has strong client communication skills and an eagerness to join a collaborative team. Experience is a plus, but it is not a requirement, we are open to new/recent graduates and can offer great mentorship. We see a large volume and variety of cases as we offer small and large animal care. Typically, 2-3 appointments per hour are scheduled. This can vary due to emergencies or cancelations.

Requirements:
Undergraduate Degree
Completion of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
State license to practice in the state and profession.

Overview:
- Office hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
- 4-day work week - Work Life Balance - flex time for school functions, appointments, etc.
- Emergency call – We are one of the few clinics in the Upper Peninsula offering on-call emergency veterinary services as the nearest emergency center is 3 hours away.
- You will be required to participate in an emergency call and live within 40 min of the clinic. Number of days in 1 year depends on number of doctors in the shared ER pool typically:
- 6-10 weekends per year (Fri-Sun) and 26-40 weekdays (Mon-Thur)
