What is job shadowing? Job shadowing is an unpaid, real life work experience that gives a student an opportunity to follow and observe a professional in a career in which they are interested in pursuing. Through this job shadow experience, students will:
What is job shadowing? Job shadowing is an unpaid, real life work experience that gives a student an opportunity to follow and observe a professional in a career in which they are interested in pursuing. Through this job shadow experience, students will:
- Learn more about their career interest and understand what responsibilities it entails.
- Build a professional relationship with the fellow veterinarians and staff at TVC who have the ability to answer questions relating to their position, experience, and education.
- Be inspired to achieve their future career goals.
- Celebrate their human-animal bond with the Thompson Veterinary Clinic team.
- Job shadow candidates must be 14 years or older of age.
- Job shadows will completed Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 8:00AM and 12:00PM (times may vary depending on the needs of the student and Thompson Veterinary Clinic schedule).
- Availability may vary to 1 candidate at a time
- All potential job shadowing candidates must complete the application below.
- Once accepted, the shadower will be contacted by our practice manager.
