What you need to know about your pet's upcoming surgery
Please arrive at the clinic at your designated time which is between 8:10am - 8:30am - Call to verify drop of time if you are unsure. Once you arrive, if possible, please leave your pet in your vehicle and check in at the front reception area to fill out any necessary paperwork. Once directed, bring your pet in the clinic and wait in our lobby for one of our technicians to call you in a room to go over your pet's procedure. As your pet is here, we ask that you call us at or around 2:00pm to discuss a discharge time that is appropriate for your pet. Pick up times vary between 2:00pm and 5:00pm depending on how the patient wakes. For intensive procedures and feline declaws, overnight hospitalization will be implemented and pick up times will vary for the following day. Please let us know if these times conflict with personal schedule. After-Care Information. Once you arrive for pickup, please check in at the front desk as we may have your bill ready. Please note that full payment is due at time of service.

No food after 8pm the night before - water is ok until your pet comes in.
If your pet receives medication or has a chronic disease please contact our office to verify when last medication should be given. When you are dropping your pet off the morning of procedure please be sure to let the staff know times the last medication(s) were given , as well as any medication that your pet has adverse reactions to. A stool sample is recommended to check for intestinal parasites not visible to the naked eye. If you bring a fecal to your appointment, the cost is $36. We need approximately 1 teaspoon of the specimen; it must be fresh, not frozen, and collected within 24 hours of the sample being checked. We recommend this be done once per year.
**Note that a fecal exam is optional and not mandatory for your appointment.
**If you are in need of an estimate please contact the office at least one week prior to the procedure. Once the estimate is complete we can send it to the email you provide. Estimates include a low and a high range. The items that are $0 on the low end are elective, however there are some items that have a range such as radiographs (x-rays), medications, etc. At the exam it will be determined how many/much are necessary.
