What you need to know about your upcoming haul in appointment

Please arrive at the clinic at your designated appointment time. Call to verify your appointment time if you are unsure. Once you arrive, if possible, please pull your horse trailer to the side of the building. Please make sure to not block any vehicles in the staff parking area as you do this. Once parked, you may come in the clinic to check in and fill out any necessary paperwork, or you can call to check in from your vehicle. Once your appointment is done, please make your way in the clinic as we get your bill ready. Please note that full payment is due at time of service.

**If you are in need of an estimate please contact the office at least one week prior to your appointment. Once the estimate is complete we can send it to the email you provide. Estimates include a low and a high range. The items that are $0 on the low end are elective, however there are some items that have a range such as  radiographs (x-rays), medications, etc. At the exam it will be determined how many/much are necessary.

Emergency Services are provided through the Manistique office and Escanaba Veterinary Clinic. 


02/01/2023 - As many of our clients are aware, Thompson Veterinary Clinic currently shares a weekend emergency call rotation with Escanaba Veterinary Clinic. This alliance has worked well to be able to offer emergency care to our clients as both facilities search for additional Veterinarians to join their teams. To continue to be able to offer emergency care it has been decided to share weekday emergency call rotation as well as the weekend rotation. This will go into effect February 1st, 2023 and continue until further notice. When calling your regular facility, you will be notified of the location that is on call. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our clients and continue to search for a remedy for the shortage of veterinary emergency care in the Upper Peninsula.
