Did your pet ingest something?
Please contact PET POISON CONTROL at 800-213-6680 immediately. They will provide guidance and determine whether a medical emergency is present. Be prepared to provide details about what was ingested and obtain the case number so we can follow up and receive the appropriate treatment protocol. Please note that there is a fee for this service that is not covered by TVC/EVC; in most cases of ingestion, a call is necessary to determine treatment, and this fee will be the owner's responsibility. This may also mean that you won't need to come in after speaking with the Pet Poison Control, as they may advise you that an emergency room visit is not necessary |
